Social Justice

About Us

We are a small band of people affiliated with Indiana University. Our goal is to disseminate some scholarly research on a variety of social justice issues. These will include gender issues, race issues and others. Our views do not represent the views of Indiana University. We look forward to sharing our perspectives and insights with you. We look forward to hearing from you and to engaging in an open, frank, and respectful dialogue on important issues.

Why?

First, We are convinced that much very good social science research on social justice issues is underreported or perhaps reported in a haphazard sort of way. We want to fill some of that gap. Second, Much of reporting on social justice issues and much of the political discussion is encumbered with partisan-political or ideological baggage. Often, political discussions of social justice issues are “fact free”. We hope to fill in this void. Lastly, We are not striving to change your mind. We simply want to provide food for thought.

A Notice...

For all of us, this is something new, an experiment. We will see how it goes. We are eager to hear from you and learn from you; and if you think that this little experiment is a worthwhile endeavor, feel free to join us.
